A Note About the Tenure Track
The Center for EduPunx is well aware that scholars on the tenure track, or hoping to be on the tenure track, must be very wary of using the new media.
We want you to be able to participate freely with us, without concern for professional repercussions. Obviously, membership in a Second Life group is necessarily anonymous, because your avatar's name must be unique. You can also use an anonymous, non-institutional email address to sign up for this Wiki. You do not have to establish academic credentials to join this group, nor do you have to disclose your Real Life (RL) self. Everyone is expected to behave with a mixture of curiosity about the world and respect for the thoughts and feelings of others, and that is what will decide your ongoing presence in this group.
We hope this is reassuring to any who might otherwise hesitate to belong!

The Center is happy to support activities that will benefit teaching, research, and learning. We're also just happy to hang out and b.s. Sometimes it's nice to take a break, visit with friends or classmates, and practice your virtual world skills.
Hope to see you sometime this year!
